Great location, close to main attractions and with amazing views. The hotel is conveniently situated near Galata Bridge, Galata Tower, and Eminonu, making it easy to explore the city. The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served offers amazing views of the Suleymanie Mosque and the Golden Horn.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in this city! The hotel was clean and had great facilities. It was conveniently located near two metro stations, making transportation easy. The Peninsula restaurant, with its amazing view of the Bosphorus, served an amazing breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this venue. It’s located in a very convenient area between two bridges on the other side of Istanbul with many nice seafood restaurants around. The staff are very nice and always available whenever we have any request at the reception desk. Moreover, the room amenities are perfect. We enjoyed the terrace and the soundproofed rooms that provide enhanced comfort and quality services.
Highly recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is situated in a great location, right on the Golden Horn embankment, offering stunning views of the Galata Bridge. It is also conveniently located between two bridges on the other side, providing easy access to the old Sultanmahmet area.
One downside mentioned by a reviewer is that the main entrance of the hotel is unattractive and unsightly.

Fantastic panoramic view from 9th floor room and restaurant. Friendly staff celebrated my wife's birthday with cake at breakfast. Best price/quality nearby. Convenient location near metro and tram. Excellent service from Mr. Ali. Breathtaking breakfast view. Convenient for boats to Asian side and walking distance to Galata. Helpful manager and another gentleman for tourist information. Limited word count.

The staff made me feel welcomed and assisted me promptly with any requests or concerns. The location of the hotel was ideal, close to subway stops, landmarks like the Galata Tower, and the Eminonu square pier. The room, although on the smaller side, offered beautiful views of the city, including the sea, bridge. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, with perfect room service. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop view and the really good breakfast buffet served every morning. The restaurant also served delicious food, and the staff there was friendly. I highly recommend the Golden City Hotel for its excellent service, convenient location, and fine views.
The room's sound isolation could be improved to minimize noise disruptions from the city and neighbors.
